Michael Ackerman, a Seattle real estate broker who works for Coldwell Banker Bain, blogs about how the value of your home may increase by how close it is in walking distance to neighborhood amenities. A study done by a non-profit group has found that a home’s value may increase by $3000 for every point the home receives on the “WalkScore” point system.
